Advocacy & Activism (CLE) Events
Join the Wisconsin Association of African-American Lawyers (WAAL) for its Black History Month continuing legal education seminar, Advocacy & Activism: Lawyers' Professional Responsibility during Social Justice Movements,on Thursday, February 28th from 5:00pm - 7:30pm at the Milwaukee Bar Association (747 North Broadway, Milwaukee, WI). Panelists from varying backgrounds will address the roles and impact of lawyers during social justice movements, discuss lawyers' ethical responsibilities and challenges, and provide recommendations on how lawyers can use their skills to facilitate change.
